We’re looking for a babysitter for our preschooler. Main duties: keeping him safe and helping with a simple bedtime routine.
Schedule & Routine:
• 5–6 PM: Light snack (fruit, grahams, PB&J, milk/water). Tablet or toy/playtime is fine.
• 7–8 PM: Wind-down and get ready for bed. He’s usually asleep between 7–8 PM (no later than 9). Reading a book is optional.
Bedtime:
• He sleeps in our room (we co-sleep).
• You can try his crib if you’d like—just check with him first.
• Otherwise, he sleeps on the right side of our bed.
• Turn on his CD player, lights off, and stay with him briefly.
• If he doesn’t fall asleep, let him come out quietly. You can ask if he wants to try again, but no pressure.
