We’re seeking a kind, patient sitter for our elementary-aged daughter. She is nonverbal, autistic, and uses an AAC device for communication. She is gentle, calm, and has no aggressive or self-injurious behaviors.
Responsibilities include providing a safe, engaging environment and assisting with her evening routine, dinner, and bedtime. Expect plenty of puzzles and Zingo; her favorite activities. Experience with special needs or neurodivergent children is preferred.
The position begins February 14, 2026, with flexible start times. Initially for date nights every other week, with potential for additional hours once dad deploys. We’re friendly and easygoing, but very intentional about her care.
