I posted this before, but now I'm officially ready to hire and get going. My biggest weakness is cooking, so our previous babysitter (a grad student who was quite beloved and with us for many years) would cook healthy meals for the kids and help with homework here and there, while I would pick up and drop off from various activities. We were a good team and I'm looking to recreate that. We're upper west siders with three creative, easy, middle school aged boys. We have the flexibility that would allow for an actress with an occasional audition or a grad student. During school vacations and holidays we don't need anyone and there would be variability week-to-week, but on some weeknights evening babysitting would be helpful. A sense of humor is also much appreciated around here, and although housework isn't part of the job description, folding laundry might be in the mix. To boil it down, responsibility is priority number one and cooking number two.
